Annual General Meeting – Oct 7
Hello Calgary Sports Car Club members,
Our annual general meeting and elections are scheduled for Thursday October 7th, 2021 at 7:30pm. The meeting will be in-person at the CSCC building located at 4215 – 80th Ave NE, and also online via Zoom (link at bottom).
Please note: if attending the meeting in person at the clubhouse, masks will be mandatory, and as per City of Calgary Bylaw 65M2021, be prepared to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test (within 72 hours). A vaccine medical exemption letter will also be accepted. As the meeting is before October 25th, proof of a single dose is accepted if you received the dose more than two weeks before entering the facility.

And very importantly, there are several key positions on the Calgary Sports Car Club Executive that are up for election, including President (term limit 2 years), Autoslalom director, and Ice Dice director.
It has been a real pleasure serving the club as president these last 2 years, and while the pandemic severely impacted our events, it provided an opportunity to address many of the critical property projects. The new fencing and gate have greatly improved security and appearance of the property, and the landscaping and flood mitigation have not only solved a big issue, they have improved our parking area, building access, and property appearance too. Thank you so much to the great executive team and other volunteers, our club is in great shape both from a business and property point of view, and 2022 should be an excellent year.
